Teacher Development: Special Interest Groups
Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are groups of TESOL France members who share an interest in a particular aspect of teaching and wish to take that interest further in a friendly and informal environment with other teachers. From time to time an outside speaker is invited, but usually meetings take the form of an open forum in which participants speak of their own experiences and exchange ideas. The groups meet usually about 4 to 5 times a year, the topic of each meeting being determined by the participants of the previous meeting. Meetings generally take place on Saturday afternoons at Télécom Paris.
