Mary Shepard Wong
Mary Shepard Wong is a two-time Fulbright Scholar (The Chinese University Hong Kong 2012-2013; Yangon University 2015-2016) and Principal Investigator of two grants commissioned by the Hong Kong Government Education Bureau to evaluate the Native English Teacher Schemes in Hong Kong’s primary and secondary schools (2015-2017). She has conducted over 100 presentations and has several publications including three edited books, two with Routledge and a third under contract with Multilingual Matters. She also has published an ESL textbook with Cambridge University Press. She has developed and led four study abroad programs in Thailand and Myanmar. Her publications and research includes the rights of Non-native English language speaking teachers, Peace building in education, gender inequality in education, reform in teacher education in Myanmar, and exploring the intersections of spirituality / religion and English language teaching. She holds a doctorate in International & Intercultural Education (University of Southern California), master degrees in East Asian Languages and Cultures (University of California at Los Angeles) and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Azusa Pacific University). She is Professor in the Global Studies, Sociology & TESOL department at Azusa Pacific University in southern California, where she directs the field-based TESOL program. She has taught ESL and been in teacher education for over three decades in the U.S., China, Thailand, and Myanmar. She and her husband live in Pasadena, CA and have two grown children.
Daniel Xerri
Daniel Xerri is a Lecturer in TESOL at the University of Malta. He is a member of IATEFL’s Conference Committee and of TESOL International Association’s Research Professional Council. Between 2015 and 2017, he was the Joint Coordinator of the IATEFL Research SIG. He holds postgraduate degrees in English and Applied Linguistics, as well as a PhD in Education from the University of York. He is the author of many publications on different areas of education and TESOL. His most recent books are

Kieran Donaghy
Kieran Donaghy has been involved in English language teaching since 1989. He has held teaching, teacher training and academic management posts in the UK, Italy, Portugal and Spain. He currently teaches and trains teachers at UAB Languages Barcelona, part of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He has a special interest in the use of film and video, and writes extensively about film and video in language education. He is the author of the methodology book on film in language teaching

Registration fees
0,00€ - All current members (individual or institutional), guests, up to 2 stand representatives per publisher, and plenaries.
53,00€ - All non-members and memberships that have lapsed.
29,00€ - For students, retired and unemployed individuals (a photocopy of the proof of this status is absolutely required upon arriving at the Colloquium otherwise you will be charged 53,00€. We are unable to make any exceptions). This membership payment includes automatic membership into TESOL France if you wish.
30,00€ - All speakers and poster presenters. This does NOT include membership to TESOL France. If you are a speaker and wish to join TESOL France you will be charged 53,00€.
Reimbursement
TESOL France is not able to reimburse speaker fees or registration fees for speakers and delegates cancelling their participation. Thank you for your understanding.
Attending sessions is not permitted prior to registering at the door and collecting your badge.
Registration fee payments can be made by:
- Online credit card payment (advised)
- Wire transfer carried out more than 4 days in advance of the conference.
- Cash in euros (upon arrival at the conference).
- Cheque (only drawn from a French bank account) upon arrival at the conference.
We strongly advise you pay your Colloquium registration fee before arriving to the event using our online secured credit card payment modality or wire transfer. Attending delegates can pay their registration fee in cash upon arriving at the conference in November but this slows down the registration process. Cash-paying delegates will be given a cash form to fill out. Upon payment at the door, delegates will be given a receipt if requested.
